Customers flying with Air Southwest now have the choice of a sweet or savoury snack with a hot or cold drink in the morning, and the option of an alcoholic beverage on flights after 1pm.
The airline has also reintroduced other favourite in-flight treats, including sweets served from a basket before take-off and after landing, and refreshing hot towels.
Air Southwest commercial director Mike Coombes said: “At a time when most airlines are charging extra for everything, we’re pleased to be restoring one of the niceties of travel in the form of complimentary drinks and snacks on all Air Southwest flights.”
In addition to the complimentary on-board refreshments, Air Southwest already offers a free 15kg baggage allowance, and the convenience of seat-selection at check-in at no charge.
Air Southwest operates flights to Newquay, Plymouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Glasgow, Dublin, Cork, Jersey, Guernsey and Aberdeen.
