Bookings are now being taken for the flights which will begin on Tuesday May 3 and will operate Monday-Friday throughout the summer.
The addition of the new route will complement Air Southwest’s existing service from Plymouth to the Channel Islands.
Air Southwest’s commercial director Mike Coombes said: “The new connection between Newquay and the Channel Islands will put these beautiful island holiday destinations within easy reach.
“We also expect to attract new visitors to Cornwall from Jersey and Guernsey which will be an added boost to the county’s tourism industry.”
Al Titterington, Newquay Cornwall Airport’s Managing Director added: “Jersey and Guernsey share the same mix of stunning scenery and rich heritage that Cornwall offers, so it’s great for our passengers to be able to access the Channel Islands with this new service from Newquay. The new link will also attract additional tourism coming the other way to Cornwall.”
