A survey of more than 2,600 Which? members that named over 400 different agencies both in the UK and abroad awarded Classic Cottages an excellent customer score of 89 per cent.
The high customer score means the Helston-based company is now one of only two self-catering companies in the UK to gain the accolade of being a Which? recommended provider.
The survey, carried out in October 2011, asked Which? members to rate any companies they had used in the past two years on everything from customer service to website usability.
Classic Cottages, which markets around 700 Cottages in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, scored top 5-star ratings in four of the categories for customer service, ease of booking, information about the properties and website usability.
The report also highlighted Classic Cottages’ dedication to knowing its properties inside out and spending 24,000 hours a year inspecting properties as one of the main advantage of using agents rather than listings sites.
