Visitors to this week’s Devon County Show can help to decide which Devon community project most deserves a £1,500 prize by casting their votes in the Cornish Mutual marquee.

Twelve highly deserving community projects are in the running for four prizes of £1,500 after making it to the finals of a competition celebrating the importance of community spirit in the South West.

Young farmers from Ide, Devon, have won £250 for Cheriton & Tedburn Young Farmers Club in a community spirit competition organised by the Devon Federation of Young Farmers and backed by South West insurers Cornish Mutual.
