Cornwall Care

Cornwall Care is a not-for-profit company with an annual turnover of £20 million, employing around 1,200 members of staff.

It runs 18 care homes caring for 700 older people from Carbis Bay to Bude and Liskeard; day centres with 514 clients; community care, supporting 370 clients in their own homes; intermediate care to help people return home following a hospital stay, and an advice and information services for carers.

Cornwall Care also benefits hundreds of other people indirectly by providing services that allow them take some time off from caring for an older relative or partner.

Cornwall Care has been rewarded for its strong values in keeping its clients at the heart of its business by winning three prestigious awards for training at the Excellence in Business Awards in 2009.

DCA’s work for Cornwall Care has also been recognised with a silver award from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
