Former news editor of the Plymouth Herald and a quantity surveyor in a previous life, John brings strong regional insight, a journalist's eye and extensive experience in supporting industrial and B2B clients, major development, planning and public engagement.
Jason is a co-director of DCA having joined the company in 2001 and has more than 20 years’ experience working in media and public relations. Jason’s clients include the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership and much of his work involves working with key opinion formers and lobbying in support of client objectives.
Mary is a highly experienced PR account director who joined DCA in 2013, having previously worked as an award-winning journalist, feature writer and columnist for over 12 years, writing for leading newspapers in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Bristol. Mary manages a team of 4 who look after DCA’s travel, tourism and consumer-focused destination clients.
Sarah Hoyle has nearly 20 years’ PR experience, including leading PR roles within high profile institutions, such as London’s Natural History Museum and the University of Exeter. Her career began in the press offices of theatres and arts organisations, including the RSC. Sarah joined DCA in November 2013.
A trained journalist, Zoe moved home to Cornwall from London having been news editor for the Recorder newspaper series and handled communications for Westminster City Council’s housing division. Before joining DCA, Zoe worked for the Cornish Guardian and has written for titles including The Sun and Take a Break.
Assistant Account Manager
Cherie joined DCA from Cornwall and Devon Media, working as a reporter for The Cornishman. With a strong background in journalism, Cherie has previously worked for titles including The Plymouth Herald, Western Morning News and The Cornish Times.
Head of Digital Content
A former technical instructor in digital video from Falmouth University, Greg joined DCA from international firm Allen & Heath. Greg oversees social media strategies for DCA clients as well as producing high quality videos and creative content to support PR and marketing campaigns.
Senior Account Executive
Karina is a trained journalist and an experienced creative communications professional having previously worked for national PR agencies, editing and writing copy and managing a range of corporate and consumer accounts. She brings a passion for great content, engagement and communication to the team.
