‘Taste St Austell’ will provide the opportunity for food lovers across Cornwall to come together, sample some of the best produce the county has to offer and enjoy a weekend packed full of foodie fun.
On Friday 28 and Saturday 29 October, White River Place in St Austell will come alive with market stalls selling the very best Cornish food and drink. There will be live demonstrations from local chefs and plenty of other mouth watering entertainment laid on.
There will also be a Halloween-themed activity area for children, which will include cake and cookie decorating, pumpkin carving, balloon modelling and more.
Claire Daniel, White River Place Centre Manager said: “We’re really big supporters of the Love Cornish Food campaign and following on from the success of the fantastic Cornwall Food & Drink Festival we wanted to hold our own event to celebrate the amazing food and drink that’s available here in Cornwall.
“We still have spaces for traders and exhibitors who want to introduce people in St Austell to their fantastic produce, and we’re also looking for people who can run food and drink related workshops for added entertainment – if this sounds like you then please get in touch!”
