Award-winning communications company DCA Public Relations is celebrating a quartet of major client wins, cementing its reputation as one the South West’s leading PR and digital marketing agencies.
DCA is a long-established business which last year moved from its Bodmin base to open new offices in Plymouth and Truro, giving it a wider reach to manage accounts across the region and nationally.
The strategy has already paid off with DCA winning a Cornwall Business Award for Best Marketing Campaign last month, and being shortlisted as Small Business of the Year in the Plymouth Business Awards in May.
Now DCA has secured four significant new clients with remits spanning strategic PR, digital marketing, copywriting and social media, all in the last month:
- The Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership has appointed DCA to handle all of its PR and communications for a further three years following a competitive tender. DCA will deliver PR, copywriting, social media and video content services.
- Thomas Westcott Chartered Accountants – the South West’s fastest-growing independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, with 17 offices across Devon and Somerset – has appointed DCA as its retained PR agency following a four-way pitch.
- DCA has been appointed by Cornwall Development Company (CDC) to support the marketing of key commercial property assets including the Enterprise Space for Advanced Manufacturing (ESAM) near St Austell, and the Aerohub and Goonhilly Enterprise Zones following a competitive tender.
- And UK-wide spray foam insulation specialist ThermoFoam has appointed DCA to handle its national digital marketing and Google Ads campaigns. Based in Bodmin, ThermoFoam has grown to include operations in London, Portsmouth, Leeds and Weymouth providing residential, industrial and commercial spray foam applications.
DCA’s client base spans leading regional and UK businesses and organisations, including Midas Group, Sutton Harbour Group plc, Rigby Group plc, the English Cities Fund, the Duchy of Cornwall, the University of Plymouth, Coodes Solicitors, Cornish Mutual, Isles of Scilly Travel and the British Business Bank.
DCA director Jason Clark said: “We are delighted and very proud to have secured a new contract for Cornwall and Isles of Scilly LEP, and to welcome a further three exciting new clients to DCA.
“It comes hard on the heels of our recent awards successes, and our appointment earlier this year to manage the Cornwall Apprenticeships campaign on behalf of the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Skills Hub, which includes producing a new website, social media content and video case studies.”
Fellow DCA director John Casey added: “The world of communications has seen a revolution in recent years and we have moved with it, ensuring we deliver pro-active, creative content that conveys key client messages to their audiences across multiple platforms, whether in print, online, via social media or video.
“It’s an exciting time for DCA and the last 12 months have seen significant growth in new business streams. Video commissions are up 100%, we are seeing increased requests for the management of social media accounts for new and existing clients, and the successful launch of DCA’s SEO and Google Ads services has proved very popular.”
