DCA PR has been awarded highly commended at the Brand Film Awards 2026 in the ‘Best Use of a Small Budget’ category. The awards, a scheme from PRWeek UK and Campaign UK, celebrates the best brand storytelling on film.

This project was commissioned by our client iSightCornwall, Cornwall’s independent sight loss charity founded in 1865. They wanted a film to showcase the amazing, life changing work they do for those living with sight loss and to include in a donation campaign. So, production work for the film, ‘Because I Cannot See’, began.

The filming took place over multiple shoots and was a project that stayed with us. It was humbling and inspiring in equal measure and a real privilege to be part of. We are indebted to Carole Theobald, Chief Executive of iSightCornwall, and her team for putting their trust in us to tell such moving and uplifting stories.

We are also absolutely thrilled that we have received a second award shortlisting for the film at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Excellence Awards 2026. DCA are up against big, international players like Santander and BAE Systems in the ‘Best Use of Content’ category with the winner announced on the 1st July. Being shortlisted among such strong work recognises the collaboration between our team and the incredible individuals who trusted us to tell their stories.

This recognition marks another exciting milestone for the project, celebrating the power of storytelling and the impact of meaningful, purpose-driven content. We’re incredibly proud to see the film continue to gain industry recognition.
