Who we are

DCA Public Relations (DCA) is the trading style of Deborah Clark and Associates Ltd (Company Number 03920246).

We are a long-established marketing, and public relations agency providing support to public and private sector clients primarily (but not exclusively) in the South West of England.

Information we hold

We maintain data on relevant contacts for our legitimate interest in carrying out media relations, social media activity, stakeholder engagement and consultation on behalf of our clients.

Information is collected primarily (but not exclusively) through personal contact, publicly available sources and third-party industry databases and may include:

Telephone numbers
Social media information
Photographs and video

We don’t use cookies on our website but we do use tracking information via Google Analytics and Wix to monitor site use and to improve performance.

How we use this information

We don’t carry out mass-market email campaigns. Instead, we use contact details to selectively share relevant information including (but not exclusively) emails, press releases and pictures, invitations and other content. This is generally in order to publicise the events and activity of clients and partners, and in many cases there are wider public benefits in keeping journalists, stakeholders and the public informed.

We don’t systematically share personal data with partners and/or third parties. Where one off requests to share data occur this will only be done where relevant and proportionate in accordance with our Data Protection Policy, the Data Protection Act and the GDPR and in line with the ICO Data Sharing Code of Practice.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we hold. Information will not be held for longer than it is needed.
