Former news editor of the Plymouth Herald and a quantity surveyor in a previous life, John brings strong regional insight, a journalist's eye and extensive experience in supporting industrial and B2B clients, major development, planning and public engagement.
Jason is a co-director of DCA having joined the company in 2001 and has more than 20 years’ experience working in media and public relations. Jason’s clients include the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership and much of his work involves working with key opinion formers and lobbying in support of client objectives.
Mary is a highly experienced PR account director who joined DCA in 2013, having previously worked as an award-winning journalist, feature writer and columnist for over 12 years, writing for leading newspapers in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Bristol. Mary manages a team of 4 who look after DCA’s travel, tourism and consumer-focused destination clients.
Ryan is a former broadcast journalist and radio news editor who made a welcome return to DCA as an Account Manager after spending the last ten years working at a high-level in the hospitality sector. An award-winning public relations professional, Ryan scooped a CIPR gold award for his campaign to lead the digital switchover in the South West. He has extensive PR, media relations and marketing expertise, providing full account management for a range of B2B and B2C clients.
Head of Digital Content
A former studio manager and freelance producer with published works on numerous media channels, Tristan has more than 15 years of experience in digital content and marketing. Tristan oversees social media strategies for DCA clients as well as producing high quality videos and creative content to support PR and marketing campaigns.
Junior Account Manager
Georgia joined DCA in August 2018 after graduating from the University of the West of England with a First Class Honours degree in Journalism. Georgia leads on digital and social media for some of our destination clients, develops engaging content for websites and newsletters, and supports the team on key PR accounts. Georgia is from Cornwall and is enthusiastic about developing a career in media and PR.
Lerryn is a highly skilled professional copywriter who joined DCA in 2022 after working as the Head Copywriter & Head of Content at a business consultancy agency for more than three years, managing a team of six copywriters. Lerryn has a First Class Honours degree in Media Studies and writes for a variety of clients at DCA, producing engaging, SEO-optimised content including blogs, features, news releases and social media copy.
Robyn joined DCA as Content Editor in July 2021 after graduating from Liverpool John Moore University with a First-Class Honours degree in Journalism. Robyn focuses on digital, video, and social media for some of our clients and creates engaging content for websites and social media platforms. Robyn is from Plymouth and is passionate about developing a career in content writing and social media.
Chrissy is an award-winning writer and journalist with more than 20 years’ experience of writing for both local and national newspapers, magazines and online platforms, including the Daily Mail, Conde Nast Traveller, The British Medical Journal, Devon Life & the Western Morning News. Chrissy works on copywriting projects for various DCA clients writing SEO-friendly blog posts, news releases, case studies and website copy.
Junior Account Executive
Sam Clark joined DCA after graduating from Plymouth Marjon University in 2021 with a First Class Honours degree in Journalism (Sports Journalism speciality). Sam has a passion for creating multimedia content and delivers creative design and written content for DCA clients through various digital channels, as well as supporting the team to manage PR accounts for many of our key corporate and consumer clients.
Junior Content Producer
Sam joined DCA in March 2022 as a Junior Content Producer in an apprenticeship role being delivered in partnership with City College Plymouth. Sam works with the team to support on content creation for social media platforms, digital marketing campaigns and video packages for clients, as well as digital media and graphic design projects.
